Sandwiches My Kids Are Still Tolerating This SUmmer

OFF THE CLOCK: Happy Friday! It’s almost the weekend, so let’s NOT talk about work, okay?

I don't have any groundbreaking lunch ideas. At this point in the summer, I’m just trying to keep my people fed without them whining about it.

Anyway, we’re doing sandwiches on a constant rotation for camping, ballparks, and lunches on the go, but I realized by accident that changing up the bread kinda tricks everyone into thinking we’re having something different. Riding this wave until someone notices.

Here’s what’s working:

  1. Ham and cheese on Hawaiian rolls

  2. Turkey on sourdough

  3. Grinders on Jimmy John's day-old bread (loaves are like, 50 cents!)

  4. Peanut Sunbutter and jelly on cheap wheat bread

  5. Cheese quesadillas because my kids won't eat grilled cheese.

Okay, good luck! Happy sandwiching.
